Deleting your data

Delete your account and data

Conditions for Allowing · Including the Allowing app · Last updated: 3 September 2026

You can ask me to delete your account and the data held with it at any time, for any reason, without giving one. This page says exactly how to ask, what goes, and what I am obliged to keep.

How to ask

Email david@conditionsforallowing.com from the address you signed in with, and say you want your account and data deleted.

Using the same address is simply the quickest way for me to be sure it is you. If you cannot, write from any address and I will find another way to confirm it rather than turn you away.

What gets deleted

WhatWhat happens
Your portal account and sign-in detailsDeleted
Anything you wrote in the Allowing app, including conversations in the app's support doorDeleted
Your conversations with the portal's AI toolsDeleted
Your answers to booking and intake formsDeleted
Call recordings and transcripts, where any existDeleted

Deleting your account ends your access to anything you bought. That is worth knowing before you ask, because it cannot be undone.

What I have to keep

The record of a purchase itself, where a legal duty such as tax law requires me to keep it. That record is the transaction, not your practice, not your conversations, and not anything you told me about your wellbeing.

How long it takes

I respond within one month, and in practice usually much sooner. This is a small practice, not a support queue — your email reaches me.

The fuller picture

This page covers deletion. What I collect, why, who else touches it, and how long I keep things is set out in the Privacy Policy — sections 7 and 10 in particular.

If you are ever unhappy with how I have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. I would rather you told me first, but that route is yours and I will not stand in the way of it.
